Carolyn – 14 Year Auburn Resident

After 14 years of calling Auburn home, Carolyn, a former Southern California resident, is buzzing with excitement about the imminent arrival of Grace Park. This eagerly anticipated space promises to be more than just a park; it’s envisioned as a vibrant community hub where all generations can connect, reflect, and recreate.

Having personally walked the property, witnessing the vision for Grace Park unfold, Carolyn shared her deep enthusiasm. “It’s going to be a light to everyone who uses it,” she said. One of the most anticipated features is a dedicated “prayer walk” – a tranquil pathway designed for reflection. “My husband and I are truly looking forward to utilizing it together to lift up those who will gather there.”

The prospect of the amphitheater is also igniting curiosity and anticipation. While its exact offerings are yet to be unveiled, she anticipates participating in events there with her husband, envisioning a space for community gatherings, performances, and shared experiences.

Carolyn fondly recalls fishing expeditions with her grandkids at Ashford Park and cheering on her grandson at different sports events at Regional Park. These experiences underscore her belief that Grace Park will become another cherished spot for families and individuals alike.

Beyond the specific venues, she emphasized the simple joy of observation. “Seeing people enjoy (Grace Park) will be incredibly fulfilling for me.” She mentioned picnics and leisurely moments spent soaking in the serene surroundings of the fruit trees and garden features. This sentiment speaks to a broader desire for a space that fosters community, well-being, and intergenerational connection.

Grace Park is poised to become a testament to Auburn’s commitment to its residents, offering a beautiful and purposeful space where every generation, including the one that has enriched this community for years, can find joy, peace, and belonging. Get ready, Auburn, because Grace Park is about to become your new favorite destination!
