Grace Park is a new multi-generational outdoor space being developed in Auburn, California. It’s designed to bring families, youth, seniors, and neighbors together in a safe, welcoming, and accessible environment. The park will include athletic fields, walking trails, picnic spaces, an amphitheater, and a community garden — all intentionally designed for connection, recreation, and wellness. This is not just a park project — it’s an investment in the long-term health, joy, and unity of our local community.
Grace Park will offer something for every generation from sun-up to sun-down! Below is a breakdown of the proposed features:

A place where the next generation can gather to play organized recreational sports to improve their physical and team building skills. Imagine fields where students and children can gather to have fun, and where adults can coach and invest in the youth from dawn until dusk.

A safe, beautiful walking path for our community. Walkers can enjoy the scenic views the park has to offer for a peaceful stroll, or can engage in the optional exercise stations for an added challenge. The walking paths can be a place to escape the stresses of the world and be an opportunity to add some fresh air to one’s exercise routine.

A space designed for beauty and reflection, for community and creativity. This garden will be a place where friends can gather in the community to enjoy beauty with flowers and vibrancy. This garden will be for personal reflection and inspiration.

A recreational space where men and women can enjoy these great games. By making these popular spaces available our community can gather for friendly competition and conversation. Conveniently located close to parking with shaded seating, these courts are sure to be a popular destination for exercise and leisurely play.

A place where families and friends can gather to enjoy the arts. The amphitheater can offer community music or drama events in a beautiful modest venue. The venue will host a variety of Grace Park sponsored events with grass cushioned seating.

A playground created for the next generation to build memories, explore, and make new friends. Families in the community can utilize this playground in their weekly and daily routines to engage in the outdoors and build relationships together. The playground is named after Pike Bell, the pocket miner who lived in the area.
Grace Park is for the Foothill community – here’s what the park means to some.

Grace Park found its home when Auburn Grace closed on a 6 acre parcel on Bell Rd. With the deed in hand, work began with a dream of building a park for the community some day.
A public fundraising campaign launched with new donor packages, a dedicated website, and a slate of community events. The goal: raise $4 million needed to build and launch Grace Park.
A public ceremony will mark the official start of construction. Community members, donors, civic partners, and local media will gather on-site as shovels go in the ground.
One year later, Grace Park will open for everyday use. The first sports field, play areas, walking loops, picnic spaces, and meditation-garden will be ready, creating a shared place for generations and connection.
A place where the community can gather, connect, and enjoy outdoor activities
