About The Park

Grace Park is the fulfillment of a long-term dream. Way back in the 1980’s Auburn Grace Community Church purchased seven acres off of Bell Road. Not much later they sold three of those acres to the Miyagi family and both groups built a facility on their adjacent properties. Miyagi Gymnastic Academy and Auburn Grace Community Church have been staples in North Auburn for over 40 years, welcoming community groups and hosting community events that have enriched the lives of families in the Foothills.

In 2008 the church was able to complete the purchase of six acres, adjacent to both the church and the Miyagi building, and the dream of having a real community gathering complex began to take shape. In recent years the dream of building Grace Park has come to fruition and hard work has gone into walking through the county process to obtain the needed permits to break ground.

Grace Park is a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the development, launch, and ongoing management of the park and its community programs. The Board of Grace Park is comprised of local community members who desire to offer a new outdoor recreational space for the public to gather, connect, and grow together.

There are four steps in the plan for Grace Park: See it, Fund it, Build it, Use it. Currently, we are in the Fund it phase and are asking the community to partner together to construct Grace Park. We desire to break ground in the Spring of 2026 and host the grand opening one year later.

See It

Fund It

Build It

Use It

Grace Park will be a privately owned public park. The park will be open daily from dawn to dusk. Kids are welcome to come play on Pike’s playground. Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy the Sports Field, Bocce Ball and Pickleball. A wide, smooth, and stable walking path will surround the park and include exercise stations. Seniors can enjoy a stroll or rest on a bench. A meditation garden area will be provided for contemplation and inspiration. So many elements to improve the quality of life for our Foothill community.

The cost to build and launch Grace Park is estimated to be $6M.  Auburn Grace Community Church members have pledged to donate the first million dollars to Grace Park and has committed to cover all fundraising expenses, so any donation toward the park will go 100% into construction and launching the programs. Five million dollars will build out, open, and sustain the park and its programs for the first two years. By year three the park should be self-sustaining.
